Default Fireworks

The annual row and call for fireworks only to be allowed at organised displays is in full swing.

Some have children and animals scared by them, others have children and animals that are not bothered by them.

Well, with all these young people calling for CO2 reductions now would seem like a good time to ban fireworks!

Or they will be accusing us of stealing their future !

Doesn't seem to have been so noisy in these parts this year. For me personally if they were banned from public sale it might not be a bad thing. They have become too loud and powerful to the detriment of animals and wildlife in particular and everyone whether they wish to or not is currently forced to endure the experience. I'm all for freedom but not without responsibility and regard for the law and other people and critters.

I would prefer kids to watch a firework display, rather than this hideous "trick or treat" that seems to go on these days.

Bonfire night is part of our tradition, whereas the latter is an American import imho.
