Payen BW750 for mine.
The MLS solution is more involved than just a different gasket. When MGR introduced it, it was a top and bottom end engine modification, with stiffer bolts holding it all together. See this video for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FogVnJnjxQ
Over the years the need for the uprated oil rail and different bolts has been broadly pushed aside and many people simply fit an MLS gasket. Many MLS gaskets don't seem to last very long either, so the reason seems obvious. The latest elastomer gaskets don't suffer the poor adhesion issues that crippled the originals so why make life difficult.

Read this guide, which explains all you need to know: https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/pages/choosi...ead-gasket-kit

When it comes to Payen, we lost faith when 22 out of a batch of 100 BW750 gaskets were faulty with very poor beading - we then commissioned a UK gasket specialist to work on a BW750-style item with tight quality control and all of the latest revisions.
That's where our Elastomer gasket came from - and so far we've sold around 3,300 (including supply to most of the MG Rover specialists out there) with very few issues.
I do have the pictures of the Payen somewhere - but I'll have to have a dig through the archives if it's of interest to anyone.
