Default A thought on electric prices

The money companies pay to people with solar panels for the electric they feed into the grid has not increased. The cost of producing electricity via wind farms/turbines has not increased, yet the electric companies are selling this electric at the increased costs.
I appreciate this electric may be minimal in way of contribution to the grid but never the less am I right in thinking they are now making even greater profit on this electric?

Yes, you are right. While retail prices continually grow in only one direction it is noticeable that profits and dividends do too, but in the other direction. When you look at directors' historical remuneration, or should that be hysterical, there can only be one conclusion. Namely, it's a load of cobblers. Well, for many of us the pips reached max squeak some time ago. There is a gross imbalance going on and no-one to apply the brakes.

That’s why it’s important to use as much as you can of the energy you produce!

I have been thinking about having batteries installed to take the solar electric we are not using.
