Thanks.
I did that - then found that the reason I couldn't see the left one was that it was missing

Found a tiny leak from the inlet manifolds and a tiny leak from the thermostat.
Can't help thinking I might as well do headgaskets having come this far.....

Took it for its MOT,passed with couple of advisories
Integral body structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced
Power steering component has slight seepage from a component
Shock absorbers has light misting of oil nearside front
Strangely the front brake pipes N/S and O/S front have repaired them selfs from slight corrosion from last year

After giving the Zed a good run to Portsmouth and back last Friday and then Bristol and back on Saturday, Sunday saw a small damp patch under the engine bay - no undertray when I got her! Closer inspection and it was diesel. Popped the bonnet, had a root around and there's a small pool of the offending fluid gathering on top of the gearbox between the cross-hatch reinforcements.

That'll be a job for when I've got a week off at the end of the month. If anyone's had a similar experience with a diesel leak in this area, please share as I'd rather not be ripping bits off if I don't need to. Guessing it could be a worn return pipe or damaged connector.

Default Hydro Mount FL1

Fitted a FL1 hydro mount to the NUK lots better now and well worth the little mod you have to do on the top thread for the special tool to fit.

I had my alloy wheels refurbished today by a mobile company. Done a great job, can’t believe the difference!
Wheel well space didn’t look too crusty and appears it’s had new rear shocks and dampeners at some point.

As I have the V6 in bits I thought I'd do a compression test before starting reassembly - just incase I need to keep digging.
No.3 spark plug came out fine. No.5 decided it didn't want to leave its snug home.
1st time I've ever used a rattle gun on a plug!
Not something I'd recommend but did the job beautifully.
Think I'll make sure the threads are sparkly before I get the compression tester stuck in there......
