Hi Mike, there is no mention of that symbol in the facelift manual either.
I will try triggering the alarm tomorrow ( it’s a bit late now ) and see if it appears. |

Open the bonnet, hold the button on the slam panel down then lock the car with the remote, keep holding the button down. Give it long enough to fully set the alarm then release the button.

Easiest way is to leave the drivers window open, wait until the system has armed then lean in and press the unlock button on the centre console, or the boot release button.

Triggered the alarm, and yes that bell 🔔 shaped symbol when you next turn the ignition on .
