Sunshine & showers now, It's a toss up whether the laundry on the washing line will be dry by the end of the day again

More potting on to with tomato plants again, Running out of compost so I should go out & buy a shedload as the good peat compost stuff is being phased out/banned after this year for peat free stuff which isn't as good.

Been like that all day here. Ging is staying another night in the Lakes, was expecting that.

Getting really pee'd off with the inept NHS appointment system that ignores what you tell them! Had a letter for the "camera invasion" I had to cancel, yet again they're trying to send me to Haddington, how many times do I have to tell them Haddington isn't suitable, its a major PITA to get to. Twice I've told them Haddington is no use so they're trying to send me there a third time, do they not put notes on patient records

I'm not phoning today, I'll phone when I've calmed down a bit.

They keep trying to send me to Wigan & I tell them the same, It was built when horse & cart ruled the road & has about 250 car park spaces, The trouble is 2000 cars a day try to get in there
Bolton or nowt

Just pre-ordered the new Crewe station - Liverpool Lime st station Steam locomotives game with a pair of Stanier Jubilee & 8F locos set in 1958, It's out on the 31st May
Looks like I'll have to go back to school to learn the old semaphore signalling.

Pizza, Salad & oven chips for tea tonight

Always remember I was on the nightshift with one of the old drivers going up to Perth via Stirling, a route that had the old semaphore signalling with paraffin signal lamps in them. Frankie said the thing with semaphore signals at night is you've got to find the f'in things before you can stop at them

Cool

I was hoping Bear was going to be home today, but no news. Will have to phone in the morning.

Still kept myself busy by stripping everything out of the office and giving a blooming good clean. Changed the desk around so that I can now look out the window.

Then set about the stationary draw and chucked out all the “I’ll keep that as might come in handy” stuff. Most of it I brought with me when I moved down here nearly 4 years ago.

Nice bit of rump steak, new pots and a green leaf salad for dinner. Just finishing the last of the wine off.

Morning all,

Another gloriously sunny start to the day out there.

Back to Braintree for work this morning. Then it's a trip to my Dad's to do some electrical wiring for him in the garden. Looks like I picked a good day for it

Morning all, the sun has returned here too, much nicer than yesterday's grey wetness.
