IPK system check facility
I had a play about with the 75 IPK and done the system
Check. If the symbols are installed in the IPK and illuminated does this mean I have it installed on my poor 75 na classic se? I.e. the low level coolant warning?

'Fraid not. Though it may light up in this test, the coolant level hardware was never fitted. The earlier black expansion tanks have the vestiges of the sensor fitting but it wasn't to be.

Don't think the 1.8 has glow plugs either.

I know, but was hopeful of the coolant warning system being installed.

There is no input to the IPK to turn it on so it has to be activated by a message from one of the buses. So far I've not managed to find a way to get anything out of the BCU so my next step is to fit an ECU to my test rig. It doesn't look good though as I did mention this to Mark from Z & F Tuning and he doesn't think the ECU is controls it. Any ideas welcome.

Coolant system activated? It's already been done by Lovel with a comprehensive write-up: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=264015

I always found it strange that the low coolant warning was fitted to the lesser 45 models but not the 75!

I've got a low coolant warning on my 25 (SEi)!
It's a lot easier to see the coolant level in the 25/ 45 series expansion chamber as well.
