Default Purchased another Brand, a short review

Hi,
I have been looking for an SUV for sometime, as the extra height is now needed (my other half struggles with the 75 after an op), and recently bought a Mazda CX7 2.2 Diesel.
The 75 may or may not stay with me, as its in good condition, cheap to run and
reliable.The previous forum member owner took great care of it as well.
I thought I would do a quick review of the CX7 compared to the 75.
Fuel;
Both are Diesels, the CX7 is a 2.2 with 170bhp,not a straight comparison,but the 75 is looking to achieve 5-8 mpg more on a long run, 10 mpg(+) in town.
Comfort;
Both are very comfortable, the CX7 seats are very good though.
Space;
Obviously the CX7 is better, and being a 5 door compared to a saloon (75) more practicle.
Equipment;
The 75 has most driver aids you could need/use, inc a sunroof and blind.
The CX7 doesnt have a sunroof, but is packed with safety features inc blind spot alerts, reverse sensors/camera (the 75 has sensors only)
ICE;
Bose system in the CX7,which is brilliant.
The 75 has an aftermarket sony unit, very good but limited with 20 year old components (speakers etc,etc which can be changed)
Refinement;
The 75 is very good in town, and quiet at motorway speeds.
The CX7 isnt as quiet in town (road noise slightly worse, engine noise not as good as the 75) at motorway speeds the CX7 is nearly silent.
Running costs;
too early to tell with the CX7, its will be expensive if anything serious goes wrong,which hopefully is a long way off, and I do have a good warranty from Mazda. The CX7 tyres are huge.
The 75 can be run very cheaply, and nothing is too scary re costs.
The CX7 CO2 levels are high, but NOX very low (ADBLU system)
All in All two very good cars that are not to everyones tastes, which I find part of the attraction to both of them.
The 75 actually holds up well against a newer design.

I personally do like Mazdas especially the Mazda 6. Stunning motor and good quality.
