Okay. I have checked and sealed what I can find and water is still getting in. Now I have weird stuff happening!! Sometime, not always, the doors refuse to lock. They unlock just not lock. I also had a moment where all the lights and indicators where working but none of the lights on the dash worked ???. This cleared quickly. I appear to have a gremlin. Anyone help or is it related to the water ingress in driver side?

Have you cleared all plenum drains. The ecu may be affected.

I checked the ECU plenum and that has drained and is dry. All very strange cos everything is back and working now except that every time I turn off the ignition the odometer and the IPK information revert to zero.
