Washer Jet Problem
Hi there,
I purchased an MOT expired 2004 rover 75 estate CDTi around 2 weeks ago for next to nothing and spent a lot of money to get it through an MOT. It is worth it, as it only has 112k on the clock. Aside from the headlining issue, it has a really weird electrical fault, and i was wondering if anyone knew of this issue and whether there is a simple fix, but basically, when you put on the front washer jet, the front and rear jets both come on at the same time (but rear wiper is stationary). Then if you try and use the rear washer jet, the rear wipers move, but the front washer jet comes on (but not the front wipers). It is a bizarre one - Does anyone have any advice for me please? Many thanks, Rob |

Check the wiring from the washer pump, they have been known to rub through around 8" above the connector.

There is a diverter valve on the pump that is possibly stuck half way
