having problems with photobucket, what do everybody else use and why?

At the moment there seems to be all sorts of Problems with Photobucket.
I have had to reload 58 lost images.
No reply to my communication either.

Looked at fiickr but you need a yahoo acount. Can you upload to the net from flickr?

i use http://fotopic.net/ as can be seen here http://kandyman.photos.me.uk/

The reason i started using it was............... well just the first one i found. i have not had problems with it.

I use my own webspace.
Yes it costs a premium each year but it's mine, all mine

I then use my website to display my photos (actually, I need to update them come to think of it). It might not have the convenience of places like Flikr or Photobucket but I do have the flexibility in that I can do what I like to it

Another good (and free) place is the DeviantArt community (www.deviantart.com). It's good because you can get peoples opinions of your photographs and there is a good community spirit to get involved with too

I have a photobucket account, and have no problems at all

I also have my own webspace (actually 2 of them) so space is not a problem. (at the minute)

I use a few but now I'm using the Mac more will be using Dot Mac.

I use www.midnightphotos.co.uk - have done for two years now without any real issues (went down for 2 hours once but that was the only time).

I have both Flickr and Photobucket; use Flickr for my good shots and PB for everything else.
