My cable decided to break on me yesterday leaving the door glass half way down! Good job it wasn't raining!
Cheers

Hi Gareth,If it were me, just get a second hand one from one of the traders, much easier than changing wires over it's a real faf about. Take care with your window glass, if you have someone to help fine if not tape the glass over the top of the door and down on to inside and outside of the glass to hold it in the up position. Once the door card is off then the job is easy to swap the regulators over. Some have done it with a kit.

You were correct about it being a pain to change the wires over, however I had ordered the replacement cables late on Tuesday, the repair kit arrived this morning, so went and changed it over. The hardest part was getting the 2 cables correctly routed on the motor pulley!
All ok now!
Thanks
Gareth
