Front Droplinks

Can someone help? I need 2 front droplinks but genuine Rover ones. I have had a look on DMGR's and Rimmerbros but can't seem to see any?

Bit stuck now

I see that the price is over 60 quid for the pair, do you know if they are worth it over the cheaper ones? Also I've seen these on the bay LINK - any good?

You only get the quality you pay so will probably last longer,I would go for genuine ones on my own car as some of the cheap ones wont see you out for a year

Definitely don't want them to fail quickly, so looks like I might have to order those originals from DMGR's then... Thanks again for your help!

They only have one left for sale . Artic(Steve) is trying Meyle drop links out. Give him a buzz. I have fitted Delphi to mine and after one of them failed at around 4000 miles, they replaced it and I have had no further trouble. Hint:- when you get any make , peel the rubber back and put some Castrol CL grease in the joint. When you use the grease, you will see why I use that particular Castrol product. It sticks like s***r to the bearing surfaces.

Thanks for that! Just out of interest, what is the best grease to use? The Castrol CL or Copper Grease? Or is there any other that would be more suitable?

I use CL grease because it says on the tin that it is ‘sticky’. If you get a tin,be careful where you drop some as it is a bit like getting toffee off. It is not like toffee, but it really sticks and is very greasy. It clings to whatever you put it on.Ideal for droplinks in my opinion, that’s why I use it, and in a good many other locations.

It's not me who trying out any Meyle front drop links

I have a couple of sets of Unipart ones on the go, and another make which is not main stream, so far so good but always best to get at least 12 months behind them before saying yer go for these etc
