how to wire led underglow with switch

Hi.
I am planning to fit led underglow, led strips at front bumper, with on/off switch in cabin. Where could i take power from safely, to oparete the light with switch even when ignition is off? How to wire it? Do i need additional security, like fuses too?

if you're putting a switch on it and it's going under the car then I'd say either the battery itself or the fuse box under the bonnet as for fusing them I'm not sure on that part of it
