Glenn

Looking good, and like some of the bits you have done. I have been working on mine for the last couple of months, as it is currently off the road for Winter

Glenn - was the knocking caused by the strut top bearing(s)?

The knocking didnt go away entirely. I then needed droplinks then bottom rear bushes. Now the car is sorted at the frontn no more knocking.

I changed the droplinks on mine but the knock is still there. Strut top bearing is the next candidate. I hadn't thought of the bottom rear bushes - have you got a part number?

Btw, have you seen the polyurethane bushes? They're said to eliminate funny noises (knocks presumably) and can be re-greased in situ. See Arctic's pics in post 7 - http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=183564

Then see - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-M...25.m3641.l6368

It look like Rimmers do poly ones as well - http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID007129 and http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID007133 - I can't figure out which ones (if any) are for the 75/ZT though.

DMGRS have these polyflex kits - http://www.dmgrs.co.uk/products/rove...hbone-bush-kit

Cheaper here - http://www.powerflexshop.com/car/rov...or-road-use-75

Fitting them - http://forums.mg-rover.org/mg-zt-rov...fitted-478947/
