Morning all.

It was absolutely throwing it down a few hours ago, but the cloud is trying to break, and we're due for some sun a bit later .

It'll be interesting to see just how far the river has burst its banks. It was perilously close yesterday. Quizzie has a sixth sense about this. If it's flooding, she might, just might paddle but won't actually go in. She's a clever girl.

Take care everyone.

My neighbour spent hours on hands and knees doing the weedy bricks and I took my pressure washer out and did the paving slabs in a couple of minutes. A quick rake of the weedy mud residue and all was separated and binned. I did offer! The kiln dried sand is best on a dry day but the weeds will always come back unless you have a supply of environmentally unfriendly weedkiller! Gan canny.

SWMBO said It was a choice of stripping wallpaper off the bedroom wall or doing the BIG SHOP, I said where are the shopping bags I hate that painting & decorating malarkey.

Went to ASDA in torrential rain & came back in clear skies & sunshine , Very nice now in the conservatory. Got all the doors in the garage & greenhouses open to air/dry out.

The price of basic stuff is going up on a weekly basis so I've got a shed load of baking stuff, lard, butter, flour etc & I'm set for meals over Winter now Apple juice stores is looking good again

It’s certainly looking like it’s going to rain well today, the dull looks like it’s about to throw it down with rain.
I was right about rain, it looks a bit nice outside as the rain stop a short half an hour, but it’s still very cold outside.

The sunny weather barely lasted an hour before the skies darkened & the heavens opened again .
Baking day with four big pork pies that are ready for the oven, They're going to get injected with pork gelatine like you used to get when they cool off

Stop posting pics of food! I've started a starvation diet followed by laxative prior to a CT scan on Friday. Doc wanted the camera up my back end again but I (politely) told him he could stick it up his own I'm not going through that again. He's determined to check for an internal bleed as the cause for "stomach troubles" despite the fact that the only evidence for it is in his mind, I'm on metformin and it is notorious for causing diarrhoea.
