Is there any point me pursuing this thread ? I'd like some seals but unless there is a way to communicate and/or receive them then I'll just buy a tube of silicone seal !

Click on Jezza's username & options will appear under contact info, one of which is send email. Fill in the header with your request & then fill in your details as you would any other email. The forum browser will send the email to jezza & he will contact you as your email address appears to him in your message. Some people's attitude despairs me sometimes, the man is trying to help members

Ah well, very helpful, thanks, but having already tried that method of contact several times (I'm not stupid !) I think I'll just buy the silicone sealant ! It's not a problem but members who semi-commercialise their hobby should put their activities on a professional basis, I suggest.

Well, I've sometimes suspected there may be a system glitch that means emails don't get through. I've received no emails from Davpil at all, so if they have been sent they must have vanished into the ether

I have now replied by pm to Davpil and via email to martr84, so please check your inboxes.

I've checked my own Name link in the left and both the pm and email links exist, so not sure where the problem may be,

Saw this topic and read the "problem" with the e-mail. So I decided to test it out. These screenshots is what I get to see. And I can't find any mentioning of the e-mail function.

I think originally the 'email other members' option was restricted for light blue non subscribing members, to prevent any spammer newbies from joining and immediately spamming other members email boxes. I have lifted that restriction now however, so give it another go
