E-Team human rights documentary
Watched a good documentary on Netflix called the E-Team about the Human Rights Watch and their workers who go into hostile environments to document war crimes so forth.
It was mainly focused on Syria and their civil war. Some horrific events. Same as all wars. Anyway, what amazed me the most was how boxes and boxes, running into the hundreds were just left laying around in the open. SAM missiles, RPG's, assault rifles, you get the idea. Near all the stock was from Afghan and was originally from the USA. They mentioned about how ISIS and other Islamic terror groups just come and collect and use these for their IED's and suicide bombings so forth. I must admit that the documentary felt a bit in favour of the western powers. Perhaps western intelligence played a role in the making or helped steer from the shadows as they do. Either way, it was rather interesting and thought I should share in case others may be interested. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3456090/ |
