I was a rock DJ for many years in the city centre ( well known rockers pub locally ) and as you say , if he doesn't know the music he's gonna have a hard time tto get the tracks to gel .

As to Wind of Change can only say sorry as was going by memory with aid of Uncle Jack

Default Things have just gotten tougher.

Hiya all, well I'm loving the music choices that's for sure.

Tonight's going well, Adam is going all out on the decks and doing well, for a 19 year old that's just started he's in the zone when it comes to hardcore music and some good mixes of 90's and early 2000 in the blender as well.

My only worry is, he doesn't 80's that well, to be blunt he's not really an 80's person at all. I asked him if he knew some and he said yeah, but when I went into details of the singers and music names, he didn't really know, got the feeling was just saying he knew them, just so he didn't look like an idiot in front of us and the manager of the club.

Were in trouble, wish we had more time, right now its a bit of a rush and last minute, right now I feel like I'm being pressured by the manger, yes I do like my 80's yes but I'm no DJ, trust me if I was able would.

he even asked if I could DJ, I gave him a blank expression and said damn it JIM!!!!!!!! I'm doorman not a DJ Mixer. yes his name was Jim and I added a Star trek original series phrase in there.

But I reckon that people will remember the 80's music so much and remember the good times they had during that period, certain songs will take us back, well 2moro I'm counting on that and I'm still confident that punters will enjoy it.

We still need more tracks, but rather choose songs for the punters the let the songs choose the punters, as each and everyone of us has that special track or more then one that will take us back when our life's were at its best.

Cheers for helping us out on this, even the lads on the doors and the club owner says thank you as well.

Not long to go now only a few more hours left.

Default That's the end of the evening.

That's job done tonight, just remembered clocks go forward after the bar staff reminded me.

Tonight was a cracking night and the punters enjoyed them selfs, only one incident I was expecting a lot more, being bank holiday and all, kept leaning on the DJ's decks didn't take kindly that he couldn't lean on it, so escorted him out, more like drag.

he was that gone he couldn't use legs, so safest place for him was In a back of a taxi on his way home.

Paul response oh not him again.
he's your favourite customer.

Pauls face said it all.

Its been a good laugh tonight and a lot more relaxed, hopefully 2moro night will be the same. time for a cheeky pint before we head home, I'm not driving.

Pints taste so much better when there free.

Good afternoon.
How's everyone doing, hope your all well.

I'm panicking about tonight and I'm not even the DJ, but yesterday, Adam didn't;'t have a clue, but were going to try our best.

Just had recvied some news and an update, the North Wales Ford owners club will be parking near the club, most likely they'll come in to check it out.

Tonight were starting 80's night at 8pm tonight instead of 7pm, so I'll be on the door around 19:30 tonight with the clicker going like anything.

Wish I was punter instead of doing, I can get some snaps of the classic Fords at the car park. If I only I knew sooner, DAMN!!!!!!!!

If anyone got more 80's to get people jumping I'm all ears.
Should be a good night this.

Animal and Saga Lout wish you were on tonight instead of Adam, he did well last night got to give in that, but 80's its not his field.
