Odd noise when HEVACon
Hi All,
Odd one for you. I spent most of last weekend, much to the annoyance of my wife, trying to fix the air-lock in my cooling system, I'm pleased to say this is now done, with new PRT fitted, and I even pulled the heater matrix and flushed it, what a PITA rejoining those pipes is! Now however I have an odd noise, it's as if having the HEVAC on amplifies the engine noise, when it's turned off its nice and silent, but on it gives off a noise that rises and falls with revs. Any ideas? It's not a big issue, just an annoying one. Thanks Tim |

My aircon was noisy until I got it re-gassed. When on its like a rumble, maybe from the compressor?, but it's now quiet since the re-gas.

Different terms in different locations, maybe? Over here we call it HVAC.
