To post on the for sale part of forum but it won’t let me

I have a 2001 2.5 v6 connoisseur SE

Have had it for 4 years it’s just failed it’s mot and is probably going to goto the great scrapyard in the sky for £350 seems a shame as had only 68000 on the clock

If anyone wants to keep it going then let me know, it’s favourite car I’ve ever had, you don’t know what you got till it’s gone

What are the MoT failure items? Might well be saveable for not too much cost.

Suspension arm attatchment mounting bracket insecure and impairing directional stability offside front. Rear mount has completely split

Brake pads front inner

BOTH DANGEROUS

insufficient liquid windscreen spray
Airbag fault light
Incorrect rear bulb colour
Headlamps need cleaning beams wrong (same every year)
Two tyres imo three
Anti roll bar ball joint dust cover no longer prevents ingress of dirt offside front
Brakes imbalanced across rear axle
Exhaust silencer insecure

Shame cos I could do a few of these it’s just time I haven’t got anymore

The bodywork has dings from the oap owner previously bless her

Some old girl crashed into the rear arch her insurance paid me £700 and wrote car off but only cosmetic

Car locks don’t work!

Boot leaks water

Apart from that it’s a good car!

Well, the first two items are obviously serious and need sorting - most of the rest don't look too bad. The mileage is fairly low for the year, so would be worth getting a detailed quote/advice before scrapping it, and you won't be able to get another car potentially as good for £350. You're in Colchester so going east you could tap Trikey on here for some advice; going west there is Chelmer Autos in Chelmsford who look after my car and know all about 75's and ZT's and have a T4.
