Morning Andy, Morning Jeff, Morning Steve and welcome to the day, morning all

Yesterday I managed to get a taxi to jump start the car. Hot yesterday it got to 35C. Today is shopping for groceries and tomorrow it’s the beach.

We go to a beach about 3 miles off road down a dirt track where there are no people. Swimming is sheltered by the reef and we can hire a flat bottom boat to take us out for snorkelling. Some folks would hate going to a beach with no people but we like it.

Have a great day.

We had a lovely end to the day yesterday. Which was very welcome as it was wet and windy most of the afternoon

Morning Jeff

Some nice photos of yourself and Lady Emma ....

Thank you Jeff your living the drea, how we love to see the photos. Now for something different: Is there a way or a work around where I can embed photos using the iPhone as I have left the laptop/iPad in Nairobi? As you know I am on Flickr but couldn’t see the embed/share feature in the phone app.

Morning all, had a lie in in case I’m on night shift tonight, still awaiting test results from yesterday’s visit to the testing centre as last weeks test came back void!

Hi Phil,

I’m afraid I’ve never found a way to embed from the Flickr phone app either.
Quite why it isn’t there I have no idea.
I’m sure it would be an easy update to the app to give it the same function as the website .
The only thing I could suggest is to do just that . Use the Safari browser on the phone and go to the Flickr website, sign in and get the BB code from there

Just done my good deed for the day. Came back into the lounge and spotted a wee bird in the kitchen, turned out to be a Dunnock. Gently caught it and released it at the back door.

I haven't seen any Dunnock's around here since I was a kid especially since the powers that be built housing estates on every blade of grass on spare land/woodland.
I've been collecting the sweet pea seed pods off the plant & drying them before they go mouldy for next years plants, Everything's wet through

I've had to move the 30ltr containers of potatoes to higher ground out of harms way as I don't want them to rot, I leave them in the soil until I need them. I harvested a bucket of 'Picasso' new potatoes which are bootiful eating taters

Surrounded by open land and woods here, quite often get Dunnocks picking up seeds under the feeders. Get small birds flying into the kitchen regularly, door is normally open for the girls to potter in and out but its the first time we've had a visit from a Dunnock.

Feeders need refilling but its been peeing down all afternoon.
