Thanks for the welcome.
Been enjoying reading a lot of stuff here already as a stalker. I'm a Brit living in Malta. We bought our first 75 recently (technically my wife's car). Not a lot of choice locally, not too many about. Missed out on a low mileage 2.5 V6 manual Connie - wife actually liked it, very disappointed. So bought the only other 75 for sale on the island, on the rebound. also low mileage, 1.8,manual, club spec, solid bodywork, no rust (apart from both passenger side door b post trim panels, weirdly), and solid mechanics, very tatty interior and peeling clearcoat, but cheap enough. Bonus, is it is a very early Cowley car, first registered Nov 99, I guess built 1st quarter 99? Is it possible to date exactly from the vin no? Came with some nice after market 18" wheels and a mesh grille. Now in the process of brining it up to the same spec and condition of the car we missed out on, more fun this way, and I like the colour better 1.8 meh. Have you ever driven in Malta? National speed limit is 60KM and most of the time you're sat in traffic - aircon is more important than performance |
