Wow! that's quite a collection you've got there. Respect is due. I always fancied a P5B Coupe.

Great photos too.

Something of a thread resurrection now that I'm the owner of my 75 again! Since the last update on this particular thread, it has undergone a very good quality LPG conversion, and has covered quite a lot of miles! I've sold the P5 and P5B on to new homes, and I continue to enjoy P6s. The 75 is not perfect, but it still scrubs up well, and I really do like it! The photos of the 75 were taken this evening, after a quick wash. It's usually polished with Autoglym Super Resin polish, and then given a coat or two of Collinite 476.

The rest of the fleet is Rover too. I've still got the yellow Rover 2000, but I've also got a 1975 Rover 3500 which is a project, being done on a shoestring, because it was going to be scrapped, and I just couldn't see that happening. It's not quite as it appears either. Despite being badged 3500S, it's just a 3500 auto, but it does have an SD1 engine, and adjustable suspension. It'll never be perfect, but, it'll hopefully be on the road by the end of July, and will be enjoyed for many more years. Please excuse the fuel tank used to move it around where it's stored until such time as I have a new fuel tank for it.

Meanwhile, with the 2000, I've added a few period accessories to the interior, and I continue to use it a lot, and enjoy it.

Very nice you have a fine taste in cars. Always liked the p5 and especially the p6s in 2.0 litre and 3.5 litre.
Always wanted a p6 . . . but had a triumph 2000 tc auto as my first car as it was more affordable at the time.

Thanks! My parents have a 1975 Triumph 2000TC in the garage which will hopefully be returning to the road towards the end of this year. No time like the present to buy a P6!

Just a wee update on the fleet. I've lined up the 3500's new exhaust system, and that should all fit together fine, so I might get that done in the next week or so.
The 75 is getting its air-conditioning regassed tomorrow, as it's not been done in my ownership, and doesn't appear to have been done for a long time. I spent some time this evening polishing, with three coats of polish done. Waxing will be done later this week.

Just a small update.
The car was up at the Scottish All Rover Rally a couple of weekends ago, which was enjoyable, and the car ran perfectly to Edinburgh and back, allowing me to fully enjoy the freezing air-conditioning.
I went to view a Rover P2 in it last week, and enjoyed contrasting a modern Rover with a 76 year old car, though unfortunately my friend didn't win the ebay auction. I went to Thirlestane Castle in it last weekend, purely as a spectator, to see the classic car rally, and on my way back my speedometer began wavering, and promptly died, followed by an illuminated ABS light. I checked the forum, discovered it was the offside front, and got it replaced this week. I've already done over 2000 miles in it since becoming the owner again, and it's been absolutely fantastic for all of the longer runs!
At the SARR, held at Lauriston Castle.

With a much older Rover.

On the way home from Thirlestane, near St Mary's Loch.

My headlights were getting a bit cloudy, so I spent half an hour or so with some brasso, making them look clearer again, though I think I'll need to do something more in the future to get them perfect. It's an improvement, particularly at night. New wipers are required, and will be fitted tomorrow.
