CD Changer gone....options now?
My Alpine CD Changer has died again and it's not worth £60 to repair when can pick them up new for £80.
But, instead of replacing is there anything uncomplicated I could choose to do that will instead allow me to pump my MP3 player through the system? (it's a Symphony hu btw) I would like to keep steering wheel controls..... All suggestions welcome Thanks Mike

I think connects2 do an adapter lead, plugs in where the changer goes, so doesn't affect the steering controls.

I don't suppose your changer was boot mounted and if so do you fancy selling the long data lead???

CD Changer
Mike..
I fitted to my Symphony a Alpine CHA-634 6 disc changer. This plays Mp3 discs so the potential number of tracks is approx. seven hundred. I bought the changer and a interface unit that just pluged into the blue plug on the back of the Symphony from a firm called Addachanger Ltd. You can sometimes buy the changers on Ebay for the £80 mark but I think you will have to buy the interface from Addachanger. I have been very happy with the changer and fits in the glove box perfectly.. Dave T |
