Air bag light and TOAF
My Airbag light has been coming on intermittently for the last couple of weeks so I plugged TOAF in today and was surprised for it to say it could not find the SRS module?
Is this normal or could I have a faulty Airbag module. |

The software should be in the files that you downloaded to get TOAF. It's a different independent program just for the SRS. Just remember, as with TOAF to do a back up before changing anything as not sure if the SRS does it automatically like TOAF does

I must have made a mistake when I downloaded it as it says its not there. I will get a child to have a look, they seem to be so much better with computers.

With Vitesse help I have managed to get the code that is causing the airbag light to come on.
809 and apparently this means the passenger airbag ignition circuit resistance is too big. So do I need a new passenger airbag, sensor on the inner sill or will this be the module at fault? Hopefully it will be an easy fix. |

Hello Steve,
High resistance in an electrical circuit is usually the result of a poor connection. That's what I'd be looking at first, not buying new parts. Simon
