Default Help me get my sound sorted

Right - asked this previously but did not get much further forward so I thought lets lay it all out to see the whole issue;

Bought a 53 plate Conn SE which has a IOVOX CR80 unit - which isn't that bad actually - this links to a CD changer in the boot which has a round connector not the usual square one for the alpine changer.

I fitted the symphony and

1, could not get steering wheel remote to work - what do I need to do to achieve this
2. nothing from the Cd changer - infact the Symphony does not even see the CD changer.

Now can I get some sort of adapter to allow me to use the current changer or can I remove the current harness and fit one compatible with the Symphony and another Cd changers that I will have to buy. Will I have to run another CD changer cable to the boot and how easy is this?

Why couldn't Rover has kept the same harness as in my earlier 51 plate conn SE.

Default Steering wheel controls

Stubs..
The steering wheel control wire colours are blue/purple and blue/orange located in the green mini iso connector. these two wires will have to be connected to pins 2 and 3 on the main power iso.[grey plug]
Sorry can't help with cd unit..

Thanks Duo

I'm hoping I can get some sort of adapter rather than running another lead
