Rover 75 diesel auto gear knob
Hi all,
My auto gear knob has seen better days, the leather has peeled off. What solutions do I have ? The interior of my car is black so wood effect won't be any good. Do BMW ones fit ? Pete. |

I am about to do the same. I have bought a replacement but wondering how to "disengage" the gaiter from the gear stick before I attempt to pull it out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Stays put
Quote:
The gaitor stays put. Just put gear lever into neutral and pull sharply straight up. Gear lever comes off ...gaitor stays where it is. Beware not to...A give yourself a black eye or B knock rear view mirror off. Takes a bit of force and then suddenly comes off. Chris |
