Picture of alternator please
Hi
Can someone please show me a picture of what a 75 alternator looks like in the engine bay? It’s just to know where the nuts and bolts are. And, also a picture of the regulator side. My friend is currently working on a 75 but having difficulties seeing where everything is. Many thanks. Ravinder

I did have pictures when I changed my regulator but can't find them, I found this guide though which may be helpful.

Thanks. Just showed this to him but it doesn’t help unfortunately as he needs the side of where the bolts hold the end cap.

I did find my post showing the bolt locations of the end cap but the pictures have now gone. I will search on my HD’s to see if I have backups of them.

When removing the regulator, make sure you use a quality screwdriver to loosen the three screws as it is very easy to damage a posidrive screw head, especially the rear one as it is difficult to keep the pressure on the screw head.

Thanks everyone and thanks for the picture Vanbursta. I’ll pass it on to Colin so hopefully he can fix it.
