Question Borg and Beck clutch

Has anyone on here ever come across a Borg and Beck clutch with Borg and Beck on the centre of the friction plate and LUK markings on the friction material?
Thanks Matt

Yes - the centre friction plate in the Borg and Beck kits has an LUK marking on it, so I guess it is the same as the one in the LUK kits, but supplied with a B&B cover plate.

Show us a pic of the plate, nothing wrong with a LUK clutch, but if you bought B&B..........

B & B ceased trading a few years ago or so I was lead to believe.
The friction plate has 6 springs shock loading which is excellent. Some on the market have none and a lot have only 4.
Perhaps there's still some 'Assembly' stock still around? Yes, I had a new B & B assembly about 4 years ago and again, all is fine. Have just crossed my fingers.
Really, all looks fine

A couple of year ago I read somewhere that the 75 clutch friction plate and slave sold under the B&B name were LUK parts. I was under the impression that B&B no longer manufacture clutches.

This no bad thing as my experience of LUK on CDTs has been excellent.

In fact, I don't buy anything other than LUK when it comes to clutches for our cars.

Addendum

B&B is now owned by Firstline and the following pages on the B&B website suggests that they have a test facility but not manufacturing.

Newly manufactured clutch and brake parts sold under the B&B brand are still being sold, presumably by Firstline. MG specialists are selling 'genuine B&B' brake and clutch parts for classics such as the MGB. Are these made by Firstline using the original B&B tooling, or just Firstline parts put in a B&B box ?

LUK are a major supplier of clutches and other item to many car companies, while I was working I used to deliver truckloads of clutch parts from LUK in Sheffield to all over Europe, they were branded with the manufacturers own brand but all came from LUK in Sheffield, in my opinion a good brand given that they are fitted into new cars.
