Default Now avoid Delco alternators

Just had my Delco Remy alternator changed after just 30K miles and 2½ years. Now installed a Lucas that cost £10 or so more but carries a lifetime g'tee: that's the car's life not mine unfortunately.

I changed mine 3 years ago, Best of British spares had a load of factory old stock genuine Valeo ones that were never fitted so I'm hoping it lasts as long as the original.
A lifetime warranty can't be bad though, just don't drip oil into it
