Default Reverse sensors

Hi all could anyone have ideas as to why they keep blowing the fuse straight away it's a 2005 auto I have pulled the plug under back bumper and still the same reverse lights work ok

The only thing I would suggest before changing the PDC ECU Paul, would be changing the reverse relay.

A quick way without cost is to exchange relay 1 top left (reverse) for relay 2 top right (horn)in the passenger compartment fusebox.

Failing that it's time to change the PDC unit I'm afraid

Default Sensors

Hi Brian have tried both of your ideas and still the same have swapped the relays around and tried it with the wiring plugs unplugged from the PDC and a friend's PDC unit and it just keeps blowing the fuse even when PDC unplugged any more ideas

Well if it is blowing fuses with the PDC unplugged Paul, then it follows there must be a dead short on the wiring loom between +12 and ground.

It's not going to be the reverse switch, as this operates the lamps.

I've attached the wiring diagram for the PDC, hopefully this will assist.
