G’day, bright and sunny today, typical when I’m back to work. Like everywhere, rain forecast for mid afternoon.

Morning all - tail-end charlie here
'tis a lovely morning at the moment, but going downhill through the day according to the BBC
SWMBO has decided the house needs a late Spring/early Summer clean before we go on holiday, so I have been handed pair of Marigolds and my instructions

Good morning Rod, good morning all, Andy, Bob, Ian, Jeff, Peter, Richard and the other reprobates Hopefully summer will have arrived by the time you are ready for the off to Norfolk, ever been? Over the years I had day trips and holidays to Great Yarmouth and the broads, nice beaches and off road nature reserves.

By coincidence yesterday, we could not get the BBC and I had cancel the acupuncture as we had to wait in for the TV repair man to come. He replaced a router box and the BBC channel was restored. This afternoon I am seeing the chiropodist about my athletes foot. I am not sure if I will go back to the Chinese Acupuncturist. What he did to me last week was very painful and it seemed to make the pain worse. He charged me £10 for my own needles which I get to keep and he said the treatment is going to be expensive at around £500 per week cash. I told him his fees were high and I am a retired NHS nurse, I don’t have much money as I have to support a wife and I have cows to look after. So I have asked him to ring me back with much lower charges. Have a great day

Blimey! Phil £500 for acupuncture daylight wobbery I had a 13 week course a while ago when I first started having trouble with my lower back, I cant say I felt anything in the feet & back where she stuck them in but it did improve the sciatica.

I've been into town on the charabanc to pay a cheque into the Co-Op bank, it isn't worth taking the car and finding somewhere to park since getting the concessionary travel pass.
The bank is just off the Square where Fred Dibnah's statue is.

The rains not far off judging by the sky.

G'day Phil - I was going to say "what's afoot" but that's probably not appropriate at the moment - sorry

Yes, we have been to Norfolk previously - once on a (wooden) Broads Hire Boat with friends about 45 years ago, then again, with family, on a more modern vessel around 26 years ago, plus caravan visits to North Norfolk, including a stay on the Royal Estate at Sandringham. We had the great pleasure of meeting up for lunch with Freddie, Steve (w44nty) and Jeff on our most recent caravan visit.
Unless something goes badly wrong, we'll be meeting Jeff again this year - our introduction to Lady Emma
