Don't blame you in the slightest. I would have spent the entire evening sitting in her, popping out occasionally just to admire the paintwork.

Cool A few faults..................

......................................... with the work. So garage are taking Banana back this afternoon. Boot spoiler has come adrift at one end, you can see the seal has come away. Trim on one side is loose on one rear wing, looks like the clip has broke. They did hint that they may keep her overnight.

Cool Banana being kept in...................

................................................ overnight. The spoiler fitting on one side has come adrift from the spoiler itself. They are going to bond a stud on. The trim issue is as I thought the clip has broken. They will carefully remove the trim and put new clips back on.

The garage has given me two disc’s recording all the work carried out and another detailed invoice. Total time they worked on the car was 236 hours.
Hoping to collect her tomorrow afternoon.

It'll be well worth it when it's finished, it does look fantastic even before the snagging issues

The money spent is irrelevent, it's your baby, do as you see fit, i can't fault you.

These car do have a way of pulling you in, like a part of the family. I know i'd be lost without mine

The discs are a nice touch - always good to have a detailed record when work like this is carried out. Also good to see them sorting out the inevitable teething issues so promptly .

Cool Now there is a rare beast..................

................................................ in AM Restorations. A Bright Red Jensen Interceptor FF. A very rare 4 wheel drive car in stunning condition. In for starting issues, arrived on a trailer.

Allen very kindly gave me a lift to collect Banana. Trim clips was not broken, just had not sat in place properly. Rear spoiler now sits better in well secured in place. New studs fitted in place with a new rubber seal, they made another one up. Parting shot from Jason was that they had fed “Bertie Banana”.

Oh! My! Still as gorgeous as ever to drive home in. We followed Leafy most of the way home, till we peeled of, (you can do that in a Banana), for our home.
