Tell you what Bob, cut your losses and accept an offer of £500 from me. It’s your head gasket gone. They all do that. Don’t they? ......on another note, how annoying after all the love and affection you have lavished on her. Hope it gets solved quickly and cheaply.

The remote on the key has no bearing on the immobiliser Bob, more likely fuel filter separation.

Please keep us posted on the outcome Bob.
My project car decided not to start last year after me taking it in for a 4 wheel alignment. I wasn't able to find find out the cause. Around 10 days later it fired up and hasn't missed a beat since. |

Yes it is. We think it was the separation of the fuel filter. Been running ok since. The fabled Orange clip has been fitted.
