Default Open air concert, Poole

Went to Upton Country park in Poole in Dorset yesterday to see two bands, a Queen tribute band and an Abba tribute band. Lucky with the weather nice and sunny, in fact hot. the ground was damp. Wet would make it sound worse then it was.
Really nice to be outside and the quality of sound I thought was excellent. Not too loud and not distorted.
We were there early so had the choice of where we pitched ourselves and for once, got it spot on.

Even from early on people we seating themselves a long way back, to me the artists were not much more then a "speck", could not distinguish any features. I like to see not just hear the performers.

Whilst neither band were the real thing and it was noticeable, the music was good enough and the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Good chance the wife is going to book to see Queen, Killer Queen I think they are called again.
