garden multi tools
Anyone had any success with these? 4,5,6 even 7 gadgets that fit on the same shaft/engine, I've had 3 and they are all rubbish probably made in the same Chinese factory as they seem very similar.
Can anyone recommend a brand? Thanks |

All the chinese ones are rubbish, with the key components made out of cheese. I use a Ryobi set made-up from the Expand-it range of accessories and power heads. Unfortunately Ryobi have stopped making these so their prices have shot up. Your best option now is to build up the kit from Makita powerhead and accessories. Alternatively, Stilh or Echo. But these options will add up to quite a lot of money. |

I have Sthil. Pole pruner (small chain saw), strimmer, hedge trimmer and a brush cutter but this I have not used. A present to my self a few years ago. Don't know how but the wife sneaked in a petrol self propelled lawn mover but this is from their DIY range. Worth every penny as our electric one took hours to mow the grass
At times the Sthil can be heavy and cumbersome. There was a time that Sthil dealers were not allowed to post new items, you had to be given a talk on how to use it but I think this has been done away with. Sthil is widely used by professionals macafee2 |
