Looking to buy above from Halfords,£40 cover has better reviews than the£65.
Any input appreciated.

I was forced to buy the £65 one in an emergency storm situation earlier in the year.

It's fine and definitely waterproof and secures fine with the straps.

To be perfectly honest I wouldn't normally have paid anywhere near £65 but was stuck with all my windows and sunroof open in the middle of a storm on a Sunday.

And if I had time would have looked around for a recommended one for far less.

Whatever you buy and assume it is for outside you need one with straps which some of the Halfords ones have. If you don't and just have the elasticated bottom they tend to blow off very easily, so not worth bothering with

Cool

I have a heavy duty one from Halfords which is fleece lined and complete with 3 straps that click into catches. Has 4 vents which you can either leave open or close.
Downside is if the car is not completely dry then you get a condensation build up. Also heavy to put on just by yourself. And a pain to get dried.
