Pride of Longbridge 2019 club's area video
A great day, pity it was so darn cold and the sun kept hiding.
I did pop back later especially to capture Gerry's Coupe in the sun however I made the fatal error of omitting to press the record button . Left the event a lot early than I normally do, legs were starting to bother me and when the rain blew in before 2:00 pm that was enough for me. Jim |

It was good to see you Jim. The rain only lasted for a few minutes but it was cold, didn't matter though as we still had a brilliant time. Looking forward to next year already 🙂.

It was my first visit there.
I was kind of hoping there would be a members "Hang out" tent/area. I stayed for quite a bit until my bladder was in greater need than waiting for the toilet queue :p

I guessed the rain hadn't stayed long as half an hour later I was driving along back in the sun, though I thought it best I left as I'd been on my legs since 8:00 and was getting a little weary. Quote:

last year we weren't allowed in the park cos of all the rain at the time, so lined the streets, but the year before that we had a gazebo and flag representing the club. as for bladder matters ..... coffbushescoff!

Thanks for posting Jim. I've never made it to POL - weather and facilities put me off (wimp!) so it's nice to get a feel for the event from the comfort of an armchair.
Surprising how many cars and faces are familiar - you even got a shot of young Thomas (Rover2003) around the 4:30 mark. Always a pleasure to watch the latest Monogram production . Cliff

Overdid it on the day, legs mustn't be as good as I though they were, fell asleep in the evening whilst downloading the footage to my laptop and woke up two and a half hours later! Took two days to recover, I was supposed to be going to Lakeland on the Sunday, needless to say I never made it! Thanks for pointing out Rover2003 to me, not met him yet and hadn't realised he was attending. Jim |

I prefer the local and National meets Jim, whete its all only one club. Pol would be better if there waa some sort of format to it, rather than just have loafs of car clubs parked in a field. Thats just my take though, obviously alot enjoy it, or it wouldn't continue.
