Default sun shades for the 75

With a new baby having arrived this week I thought I need to do the sun shade thing.

I bought some film-type ones........complete rubbish. Used the roller ones in the past - they are ok for back windows etc etc. Annoyingly my 75 has an electronic rear sunblind that doesnt work. Ive got the link to the fixes but i need to make the time.

Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone has tried custom made blinds (nb blinds/shades, not tint or film based products)?

Did Rover do any back in the day?

Question relates primarily to the rear side windows.

Unfortunately you are correct, only for the estate. It’s a shame as I have them on my mondeo estate and they fit and work very well.
As a company you would think they would manufacture them for saloons as I’m sure they’d have plenty of buyers.

Are the doors on the saloon the same as a tourer? I wonder if they are, would it not be easy for the company to split them, and make it possible to have them fitted on a saloon?

Fit the new addition with a hat, works wonders and very easy to install

Where may I ask did the new arrival deliver? wasn't the RVI by any chance?

Hi Brian
No she was a QE baby. Like her dad some 35 years prior!

Hat is a gd option. Putting a few hours aside next week to have a go at fixing the electric rear blind on the 75. Oh joy!

Cheers
David
