Jaguar and T4

Hello dear forum members.
I understand that this is not a forum for brand lovers Jaguar.
I again seek the help of T4 specialists.
Please tell me which T4 program is needed to work with the 1998 Jaguar XJ300 car?

None Denis, T4 will not talk to a Jaguar XJ300 I'm afraid.

Does the T4 not work with the Jaguar brand at all?

As far as I am aware the T4 was designed to work with Rover Group vehicles when Jaguar was part of the Ford empire and there was no connection with the two brands.

You would need the IDS diagnostic system for that one Denis, it covers Jaguar cars from 1996

You can get a IDS, SDD and Mongoose kit for around £100, but you have to make sure it covers the earlier Jaguar cars otherwise it won't work as some only cover the later Land Rover and JLR stuff.

Hello Russ.
Was Rds 7.0 program created for T4?
The shell of the Rds 7.0 program displays the Jaguar and Land Rover logos.
How to explain it?

Sorry Denis should have been more specific with my explanation.
RDS 7.0 only works with Land Rover up to 2005 after that you need IDS
