Very nice colour.
On the downside it's a thirsty motor with not much in the way of spec though. Worth asking if there is any service history and record of the cambelts being replaced. If you are interested then haggle on everything (including the missing radio) except the colour. . Last edited by Mike Noc; 14th June 2019 at 23:27.. |

It looks well presented - which may be a good thing but I am wary of cars done up to sell - preferring to see an “honest” car.
Seats look good - especially as alcantara does not wear well. Interesting that the drivers offside bolster does not get shown in the pics...... Tho that would not put me off as I repaired mine well using SWMBO’s iron on dress making hem tape. Best of all is the colour |

I'd spend the few quid and get the car more presentable - nice though the bodywork is.
If there's any history it should decide the deal . Radio and exhaust can be sorted. The apple didn't fall far from the tree. |

Looks like Royal blue to me, much more popular on the 75 than the ZT. Polishes up nicely

One of the positive things I noticed in the ad, is the second zt on what looks like a driveway. So possibly owned by an enthusiast?

After all, it's £850 for a 67,000 mile car that probably cost over £20k new. What do you expect for under a grand....

If it was me I'd start by saying OK it is up for £850 what would you let it go for? That should give an initial drop. Then I'd mention all the negatives - yes including the ones already stated and tell them how much it would cost me to sort them. You are of course right that they will have taken all the things they have stated into account when deciding their price, but often they will drop a bit more. And if they won't then it is just a question of is it worth giving them their lowest price or not. |
