If you're not that worried, don't bother and tighten them by "feel"
Precisely as they go out of calibration, Iíve never seen anyone torque small bolts and nuts

Put your hand halfway down the spanner and nip up then a slight turn and no way will that leak and you wonít strip the threads either

me neither, no idea what so ever. I do them up with my fingers until I can no longer turn them and then use a spanner. Sometimes the nipple has just gone stiff and a spanner turns the nipple a few more turns but if I can feel the nipple is fully home 1it is feel but I doubt it is another 1/2 turn.
1/5 to a 1/3 may be. I think it varies

That's a good point. It's 3.68 lbs ft according to this converter - https://www.unitconverters.net/energy/nm-to-ft-lb.htm That's 1.67kg on a 1ft spanner (or rather a 30cm spanner ).

Tighten it till it shears off then back off 1/4 turn!
