Default Mk1 Tourer MBB Now Breaking

Just arrived for breaking today a Mk1 Tourer, 03 plate, 1.8 manual.

Paint code is MBB, overall condition is very good, I haven't gone over it closely yet but it appears to be a well looked after car.

Engine is no good, apparently it has new rear springs and a new full exhaust, I have yet to look into it any further so far.

I will start stripping the car tomorrow and I intend to turn this around within a couple of days so please get in quickly with any requests for panels, trim, engine and running gear parts if any are required.

The bits I pull off will be added to this thread as I go.

The full chrome grill and headlamp washer setup is spoken for already I'm afraid, other than that all parts are available.

UPDATE

parts now stripped and available;

New (less than 200 miles use) pair of rear springs, £30 delivered. NOW SOLD

Full exhaust system, less than 200 miles use, Klarius is the brand. This is the full system from the bottom of the manifold, including flexi pipe, cat, centre box and rear box. Nice and shiny and new! According to the last owner this cost him over £300, how true this is I don't know in all honesty but I've got no reason to disbelieve him! I'm asking £85 ono for the full system, collected.

Rear light clusters, nipples ok, couple of cracks and broken fragments on rings that bolts go through to secure inner sides of lights, but they still fasten and hold fine. £25 including delivery to mainland UK. NOW SOLD

Pair of chrome skullcap mirrors. Electric, heated NON powerfold. £40 including delivery to mainland UK. NOW SOLD

Sunroof motor £15 delivered. NOW SOLD

Set of four black external pillar trims, £25 delivered. NOW SOLD

Tailgate glass screen, including handle, brake light, wiper and gas struts, £20 collected. NOW SOLD

Chrome tailgate plinth/handle including number plate lights and release button, £15 delivered.

Tailgate wiper motor and upper lock solenoid mechanism £20 delivered. NOW SOLD

Set of four Meteors, usual amount of minor kerbing, nothing too serious. Tyres are 225/45/17, two Continentals 3mm tread, two Barums 4-5mm tread, complete with centre caps. Now £125 collected, can arrange courier at cost of £30. PROVISIONALLY SOLD PENDING COLLECTION

Ash and smokestone leather seats, single piped, electric, heated, NON memory. Small amount of wear to drivers bolster, couple of tiny digs to leather on outside edge of bolster, should all cover with dye. Piping on drivers bolster is a bit worn with a little split, nothing beyond repair. Other than that excellent all round condition £65 collected. NOW SOLD

Set of four jacking pads, £12 delivered.

Tailgate main rubber seal, £15 delivered.

Tailgate glass rubber seal, £15 delivered.

Roof rails, including all bolts and fittings, £20 collected. NOW SOLD

Vanity illuminated smokestone sun visors, £15 delivered. NOW SOLD

Smokestone glove box, £15 delivered.

Door locks, £15 each delivered. NOW SOLD

AC panel, £8 delivered.

Load cover, without cargo net, excellent condition, £20 collected.

Pair of fog lights and covers/surrounds, £15 delivered.

Pair of front indicators, £10 delivered.

Various other bits and bobs available, please PM me with any requirements.

Hi Chris,

rear lights are ok, the push in/nipple type fixings are all good, the fixings that the screws/bolts go through have a couple of bits broken off, but they still have enough for the bolts to hold onto tightly, they are solid when fitted.

If you're interested, PM me and we'll sort out a price :-)

Cheers
