Default Strut Brace

Hi, sorry for the delay on answering here, but work is really busy.

I really got these for cosmetics and the understanding that they can't do any harm to handling, only improve it. Having had one fitted to the V8 I can't say I have felt any difference, but then it doesn't get pushed that hard (most of the time).

In regard to the close fit of the battery box, it is close on all FWD cars and the brace would have to be removed to remove the battery box cover. I have recently supplied one to an owner of an MG ZT 1.8. He commented it all fitted with out issue, except the close fit of the air con pipe on the drivers side, but this was easily adjusted away from the top plate. It is a close fit on the V8 too but not close enough to worry about or require adjustment of the AC pipe.

I have also supplied to a V6 owner who didn't comment about the close fit to the AC pipe but did comment about the close fit over the battery box (and VIS motors I think). I only have the V8 now so can't send any pictures but when tested before offering for sale I saw no fitment issues. I will ask those I have already supplied to send me a few pictures and post when I get them. I do have some of the 1.8 engined car but will have to ask the owner if he minds me posting them first.

Only a few left now and again, once they are gone I don't know if or when I will get some more done.

Thx for the interest and all the best, JB
