I bought G 6ELL ( G BELL) in the late 90’s direct from the dvla, I think it was £250 but may have been £500 as I was trying to buy a few plates at the time and forget which price was for each plate! It’s been on a few cars mx-5, WRX, CLK convertible, then on retention until I bought the bio. No pics of the WRX or CLK wearing it, only took pics when I first bought them before the transfer but mx5 below.

Mine cost me nothing but, it did cost Mrs mininuts £499 She bought it me for my birthday, three years ago.
Looked for it when I got the ZTT 6 1/2 years ago but, was unavailable. Three years later, thought I’d have a quick look on DVLA site and it was there!

Only problem is that it’d be no good on any other car other than a 05 ZTT

I love it though, gets some good comments, if people notice it All legally spaced too

Here is my modest personal plate.
My personal initials, car year, and ROV.

personalised number plates, spell a name, DAV 1D, fine, spell a car AUD 124V fine,
initials of a business on a livered vehicle, NFF for New Forest Fencing, fine, spell something, ?YE 521T, fine, model of car, R75 CDT, fine but if others cannot associate anything with what the plate spells, then I feel it is a loss.

Strange how we all differ in our ways. I don't really like the "showy" nature of personal plates, but deep down inside I think they're great. Probably repressed feeling of envy at those who have them LOL .

Anyhow, Mrs Teflon got a new Hyundai a year or so back, so I ordered up some personal plates that had both our initials, plus the car year. I love the fact that to anyone else it has a bog standard registration - I like to think it has stealth personal plates .

Well, I did point out mine was a Modest personal plate.
It's personal to me, in that no one else can legally display it.

We have two personal plates in the family which mean nothing to anybody other than us, but surely that’s the point....
