Rover 75 Countryman concept
Hi
I've been reading in a Practical Classics magazine an article titled "A cup of tea with Peter Stevens". In this article he mentions setting up a design studio at RDS where they developed the Rover Streetwise...he also states they had designed a Rover 75 Countryman which he thought was going to be even better than the Streetwise. Has anyone seen any concept drawings or photos of this proposal? I've searched and not found anything..but yet it does ring a bell from the pre-2005 days Thanks BP |

I've often wondered about this myself - whether a Streetwise bodykit could be adapted to fit a 75 Tourer....
After all, everyone's doing it nowadays - Audi, Merc, Skoda, even the humble Picanto and Focus can be had with extra grey plastic and a 1" lift

They were on about a SUV version of the Montego estate.
Imagine what a 75 SUV would look like? Raised roof with taller windows. I to would like to see any pic's of a 75 countryman.
