Wow £122.00 for the handle, hope they end up paying up and not time wasters

Wanted the steering wheel but not wanted it that much to pay that sort of money

If and when I get rid of the 75 I will scrap it and put the parts on e bay, you get more money for bits than a whole car

Well well.
I cannot believe the prices I got for those parts. £122 for the handbrake handle - utter madness. The same guy in France bought that and the wheel and paid instantly for both.
Amazing how I made a profit selling second hand parts that I purchased new.
SWMBO now has a very different opinion on my spending spree a couple of years ago.

Don't you feel a little guilty selling the door finishers fro profit when Crofts had them made on the understanding that they would be resold to other enthusiasts for not for profit?

Everybody a a chance to purchase these when offered and sometimes it was difficult to get the minimum order which is why some (myself included) purchased extra sets.
Unfortunately once a product has been purchased its the owners property, and once used and then car disposed of its the Highest bidder wins,
and up to owner what he does with them.
No contracts were signed for otherwise.........
Crofts sold them at a price and could have charged a lot more if he wanted to,
but these will appear more and more on EBay at silly prices purchased generally by non members.

At the last 2 National Meets I have given a set to the Club Raffle (among other things) Only a couple of sets left now.
but this does now make me think about other ways of raising money for Club through selling them instead, and getting back original purchase price into the deal to.

To be honest, the finishers were the only part I thought twice about putting on ebay.
My only defense is that I never bought them to sell for profit. I fitted them to my 75 and imagined leaving them on there for years whilst I owned the car.
Unfortunately owning the car for years wasn't going to happen. So all the modifications I made to it had to be sold on to try and recoup some of my lost money.

Small donation now given to the club.
