Default Could It Be The Battery?

The other day after work the car wouldn't start, clicking and lights flashing on the dash.
Got a jump lead start no problem. 3/4 hour drive home as normal.
Took battery off and charged it up over night.
Put battery on car in the morning started no probs.
After work car started no probs.
Following morning car started no probs but after work clicking and lights flashing again non starter.
Jump started no probs.
Didn't charge it over night and car started in the morning no probs
After work clicking and lights flashing again.
When I go home I put battery on charge again.
After tea about 1/2 hour later I checked the battery and charger said it was fully charged.
I've put my spare battery on atm to see how that fairs.

What do members think my problem is?
If something is draining the battery then why is it at work and not over night at home?
If it is the battery on it's way out how can I check if it is?

Remove and clean all terminals and earths with a wire brush.

I'd say the battery has seen better days.

Put a multimeter across the terminals and check the voltage, if the voltage drops whilst testing it would suggest the battery is naff. You can also check the voltage coming from the alternator as well, should be above 13+ volts with the engine running this can also be checked on the OBD display.

Very similar to my daughter's V6 Tourer, it sometimes failed to start but with a fresh battery it burst into life. Voltage was fine, thought it was the battery so got a new one only for the same to happen a few days later. Borrowed the starter from my donor and all was well. Bought a solenoid kit and opened the starter to find the copper plates seriously corroded, put it back in the donor and it started immediately.

Regards
