Very much a nothing day weather wise just damp and cloudy all day..
But the home made beef stew on two doorsteps of homemade bread for dinner tonight made it feel much nicer followed by another slice of Jans Dorset apple cake with some choc and mashmallow ice cream.

Good morning Paul and a very good morning to everyone else from Nairobi. Today is shopping day, groceries etc. Yesterday I bought doors and windows, roof insulation, paint and plaster. I have ordered bricks cement etc, we are building a ground floor extension - a new bedroom for visitors or when we are infirm. Interestingly the roof insulation is made from recycled plastic bottles.

In other local news, the police officer who shot dead a 13 year old boy during curfew in Nairobi, has been arrested and charged with his murder. This sends a clear message to the police to back away from abusing their powers, when they are supposed to serve and protect.

How is everyone coping with the lockdown?
